Tessarai was founded in 2019 by a group of AI researchers and business consultants who saw a gap in how intelligent systems were being introduced to organisations. Too often, AI implementations were driven by hype rather than actual need, deployed without proper understanding of context, or abandoned when they failed to deliver on unrealistic expectations.
We started with a simple premise: artificial intelligence is a tool, and like any tool, its value comes from how thoughtfully it's applied. Our name combines "Tessera" (the individual tiles in a mosaic) with "AI" to reflect our belief that successful AI integration requires carefully fitting together many small pieces — technical capability, organisational readiness, data quality, team skills, and clear objectives.
Based in Singapore, we work primarily with organisations in legal, healthcare, financial services, and technology sectors. What sets us apart is not just our technical expertise, but our commitment to operating as partners rather than vendors.
